Motorcycle Injuries

Motorcycle accidents can be very serious and unfortunately they are usually much more serious for the motorcyclist than any other driver involved, even if they are the primary cause of the wreck. Motorcyclists obeying every rule of the road can still very hurt very badly by a driver not paying attention.

A Florida man is in critical condition today after being struck by a van while riding his motorcycle on Saturday. The accident happened in the afternoon when the motorcyclist was travelling eastbound on a Florida road past a local restaurant. A woman driving a van in the opposite direction decided to make a left turn into the restaurant's driveway and did not look twice before doing so. This resulted in the van sideswiping the motorcycle and coming to a stop on top of it. The cyclist was thrown off the motorcycle and badly injured.

This is a classic example of how dangerous negligent drivers can be to motorcycle riders. The police believe the woman driving the van was under the influence and was also charged with driving without a license while the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and obeying all of the laws of the road.

If you are injured in a motorcycle wreck, you will need a Georgia motorcycle lawyer fighting alongside you. The insurance company may try and say you couldn't possibly be injured badly if no other cars involved in the accident were even damaged. We know this is not true and will work tirelessly to prove it and get you the money you deserve.
